A wonderful event that was attended by Civil and Military Authorities and the entire Province Jonica Fanfare Departmental MM Taranto, who made the event even more beautiful and moving.

OUR HISTORY

In ns. beautiful city, which is Martina Franca, in the province of Taranto, perched on a hill at 431 mt. sea \u200b\u200blevel, no one had ever thought to constitute a Group ANMI Sailors National Association of Italy.

Yet, over the years, there were many that because of the proximity of Martina at Taranto had spent in any capacity in the Italian Navy a long or short period of their lives.

In 2007, a pretty tough town doc, 1 Martin Marshal Coral contacted all those who lived life or someone else's words had somehow been a part of the Navy, took out a list with their addresses and contacted them one by one.

ANMI also contact the National Delegate for the Southern Puglia in the person of Admiral Federico Manganiello, who took the initiative to heart Coral and encouraged him to continue.

Several was the enthusiasm aroused in people who despite having made just a few months in the Navy felt in their wake, loved ones and old memories.

On June 12, 2007, the first constitutive meeting was convened in a room courtesy of the pastor of the Church of San Francesco, Don Martin Constantine.
